International Dialogue Cultural Diversity as Catalyst
March 2009 - The particpants were welcomed at the Oude Stadhuis - Old City Hall - in The Hague by Mr. Rabin Baldewsingh, Vice-Mayor of the Municipality of The Hague and Mr. Henk Manschot, Vice-Chairman CE-DESD during the welcome reception before the International Dialogue on Cultural Diversity as Catalyst of Citizenship, Creativity and Communication; Enabling Sustainable Lifestyles started.
The Mayor of the Municipality of The Hague, Mr. Jozias van Aartsen, addressed the dialogue on the first morning, together with Mr. Atem Ramsundersingh, Chairman CE-DESD.
During this international dialogue the key notes were delivered by Mr. Rabin Baldewsingh, Vice-Mayor of the Municipality of The Hague, Dr. Amit Goswami, Quantum Physicist, HRH Anak Agung Gde Agung, Member of the Royal House of Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia, Swami Veda Bharati, Renowned Spiritual Guide, Philosopher, Poet, Author, Lecturer, Preceptor, India, Mr. Steven Lovink, Founder/President of Trans Global Ventures, Inc and Planet2025 and Dr. R.F.M. (Ruud) Lubbers, Former Prime Minister of The Netherlands, and Former UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
