Welcome

Welcome (English) Dear Visitor,

Today we live in a world full of challenges. Not only are we subjected to the impacts of the global financial crisis, we all are facing the impacts of extreme natural disasters, climate change and population pressures. In our efforts to rescue jobs, economies and institutions our financial resources seem to have been evaporated into bailouts not even knowing where our money is going. We are on the edge of either sliding down to the known-ways of exploiting the planet or moving up towards re-creating and re-shaping our world along principles for sustainable development.

It all depends on our ability to mobilize our collective intelligence and convert that into tangible actions: new rules for governance in public and private sector institutions, new life-styles and new technologies to support sustainable development. Can we do that?

Creativity is still a vibrant part of us. Through dialogues it can be unleashed. While one part of the global leadership is working on short term solutions, local and unknown leaders are converting their creativity into sustainable businesses, do-good-actions and social-political renewal in societies. It is our duty to enable such creative minds and innovators to connect, exchange, share and act.

The Asia-Europe Foundation for Dialogues on Sustainable Development is planning a series of activities to be implemented soon. We are designing and planning dialogues sessions and master classes on subjects varying from women entrepreneurship and sustainable life-styles to social and spiritual leadership.

Over the last period of time we have observed thousands of visitors on our website looking for knowledge that can help them to make a difference. We are updating our website, including the change of name of the organisation and upon request of many supporters of our work.

Stay connected and continue to share.
